With the season entering its final stretch, Week 25 delivered drama at both ends of both divisions — a title charge gathering
unstoppable momentum, a relegation scrap intensifying, and some of the biggest individual and team performances of the campaign.

Premier Division

Cobblers are looking increasingly like champions. A stunning 855–739 home demolition of Oval Ball S.C at Tuffley Community Centre —
the highest team score of the entire week across both divisions — gave them maximum points and extended their lead at the top to
six points with a game in hand over second-placed R.G.H.O.C. They have now taken 36 points from a possible 40 over their last five
games, an extraordinary run of form. Leading the charge was "Bruiser", who topped the individual scoring charts this week with a
superb 108 — the highest single-player score of the round.

The story of the night elsewhere came from Matson Wolfhounds, who produced arguably their best away performance of the season,
hammering Hare & Hounds 846–685. The Wolfhounds, now third in the table on 122 points, appear to be hitting top gear at exactly the
right moment, with back-to-back maximum scores in weeks 24 and 25 following a patchy mid-season spell. For Hare & Hounds, it was
desperate viewing — they have now claimed just two points from their last four matches and sit bottom of the Premier on 67 points,
ten points adrift of safety with games running out.

R.G.H.O.C had their title push checked by Famous Stampers, who dug out a 762–751 home win — one of the tighter results of the week.
The Stampers, who had picked up just six points from their previous three games, will take great confidence from holding off the
second-placed side. R.G.H.O.C drop two points off the pace at the top but retain their game in hand.

Lion Cubs kept their top-six hopes very much alive with a comfortable 725–623 win at Painswick Ultras, whose evening went from bad
to worse — posting just 623 represents one of the lowest team totals of the season. Painswick have now slumped to just 10 points
from their last five outings after a bright mid-season spell, and the Lions — in sixth on 108 points — will fancy their chances of
a strong finish. Michael Collins was excellent in the away win, scoring 99 to help his side to the full eight points.

The Jets boosted their top-half ambitions with a solid 730–695 home win over Redmans Ten, who had been in blistering form before
this week — collecting 28 points from the previous four rounds. That run is emphatically over, and The Jets, who had won just two
points from weeks 23 and 24, look to be finding their feet again at the right time.

St James AllStars edged out Tuffley Robins 713–674 to collect six points and consolidate eighth in the table. Tuffley Robins remain
in worrying shape — just eight points from their last five games — and now sit second from bottom on 81 points. Gerald Adams was
their brightest performer with 99, but it wasn't enough.

Railway continued their recent upturn, seeing off Fabulous Baker Boys 716–707 for six more points. The Baker Boys have been
inconsistent all season and this narrow defeat keeps them stuck in mid-table on 104 points.

Maisemore Hornets wrapped up six points at St James Club against Impractical Jokers (761–744), staying fourth in the table on 114
points and maintaining the pressure on the sides above them.

Division 1

Avenue Loungers remain in a commanding position at the top of Division 1, winning 779–748 at home against Kingpins for six more
points. They now sit on 151 points — 13 ahead of second-placed St James Extras, with a game in hand. Adam Wood and Juan Fox were
both outstanding, scoring 99 and 98 respectively. Kingpins, for their part, have endured a remarkable slump — they have collected
just two points across their last five matches and face a nervy end to the campaign in the lower reaches of the table.

The biggest shock of the Division 1 round was the capitulation of St James Extras, who were thrashed 772–627 by Indians. Extras had
been on a superb run — 22 points from weeks 21 to 23 — but their form has dropped sharply, and conceding 145 pins to Indians will
be alarming. Indians, by contrast, have won maximum points back-to-back and are climbing convincingly into the top half. Extras
remain second on 138 points but their lead is under pressure.

Arcadians made a major statement with a brilliant 829–770 away win at Biji's — the second-highest team score of the week — taking
maximum points in their second consecutive 8–0 result. After looking inconsistent through mid-season, Arcadians appear to have
rediscovered their best form at the business end of the campaign and are now eighth on 101 points.

Valiants notched their third consecutive maximum score, overpowering Walls Monkeys 803–763. That's 24 points from their last three
matches for a side that looked in danger of being cut adrift just a few weeks ago — remarkable turnaround. Walls Monkeys, who had
themselves been in strong form through weeks 22 to 24, couldn't cope and drop to fourth on 115 points.

Rugger Sports put in a strong away performance to beat Willows 795–703. Jack Kelly and Jeffrey Marshall both scored 98 in the win
as Rugger Sports climbed to fifth. Willows, who had posted back-to-back 8-point wins in weeks 21 and 23, will be disappointed with
this.

Slingers continued their good run, winning 789–718 away at Hip Hips to take maximum points. Joe Lewis hit 98 in the win. Hip Hips
have struggled to replicate their early-season consistency and sit mid-table on 87 points.

Exiles S.C bounced back from a difficult few weeks with a solid 757–705 home win over Killer Instinct — eight points and back to
winning ways. Justin Richardson led the way with 99. Killer Instinct, who had been in excellent form in weeks 21 and 22, have now
picked up just zero points across the last three rounds and are looking over their shoulders at the sides below.

Rockets claimed a timely six-pointer at home against Holmleigh Rangers (751–738), ending a miserable four-week run of just four
points. Both sides are in the lower half of the table and points are precious.
